School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Regional Cross Country
Date: Tuesday 9th to Wednesday 10th June
Time: 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Where: Orange
We are proud to announce that several of our students will be representing our school at regional cross country. After showing impressive determination and sportsmanship, these students have earned their place among the region’s best runners. We wish them all the best as they compete and demonstrate outstanding resilience. Congratulations to each participant—we look forward to cheering you on and celebrating your achievements!
AECG Meeting
Date: Wednesday 10th June
Time: 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Where: BDCS - Bourke & Districts Children's Services
The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc. for Bourke will be having their meeting and everyone is welcome to join. Registration forms are available at every meeting and it's only a $2 annual fee to join.
Premier's Spelling Bee
Date: Monday 15th June
Time: All Day
Where: Bourke Public School
Our students will be participating in the Premier’s Spelling Bee, and we are proud of everyone who is taking part. This event gives students the chance to challenge themselves, improve their spelling, and expand their vocabulary in a fun and supportive environment. We wish every student the best of luck as they prepare and compete.
PSSA Girls Soccer
Date: Wednesday 17th June
Time: All Day
Where: Coolican Oval
Our girls’ soccer team will be competing against Narromine Public School. The team has been training regularly, developing their skills and understanding the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. Each player has shown dedication not only during practice sessions but also by supporting one another on and off the field. We are proud of their efforts and wish them the best of luck as they represent our school.
Kindergarten Town Tour
Date: Wednesday 17th June
Time: 9:00am - 10:00am
Where: Around Bourke
Our kindergarten students will soon be going on an exciting excursion around town. This outing will give them the chance to explore local sights, learn about their community, and have fun with their friends outside the classroom. Students will be able to discover new places and share what they learn. We look forward to seeing their curiosity and enthusiasm, and thank everyone who will help make this experience memorable.
